Bassist Eric Ajaye, Guitarist Lachlan Coventry and versatile drummer Nicholas McBride come together to premiere their band ACM at this year’s festival. ACM will present their own compositions and treatments on a few pieces by some of their influences in music.
There is a lot of musical versatility and crossover experience in this ensemble! They have each played and toured with many great bands with stellar personalities in the international jazz, pop and funk genres and recorded with them.
Between them, they have performed in over 70+ countries and recorded over 100+ albums. They have performed at Carnegie Hall, The Kremiln, Philharmonic Hall, Kennedy Center, Madison Square Garden, Sydney Opera House, the Village Gate and many more. Individually, they have performed at major international jazz and pop music festivals, from Melbourne International to Newport Jazz to Monterey, Wangaratta, Umbria, Macau, Hong Kong, Capetown, Pier, Pori, Liege and more.
