Festival COVID SAFE Plan

The Orange Winter Jazz Festival is committed to providing a safe environment for audiences, staff and musicians.

Through this document, we are sharing the steps we are taking to produce and present safe events. We are asking our performers and crew to accept and comply with these guidelines, to ensure that we can restart our activities in a manner that is safe to our staff, performers and audiences.

To manage the risks that are associated with presenting live performances again, and ensure the safety of our community in line with NSW Health advice, this plan has been developed to align with our COVID Safe Plan. It provides practical advice so we can confidently and safely welcome people back to live music – at the Orange Winter Jazz Festival.

This plan is informed via the following framework:

  • Workplace Healthy and Safety: ensuring the safety of our workers
  • NSW Government: compliance with Dept. of Health mandated orders
  • Safe Work Australia: operating in accordance of best practice
  • SIMA’s COVID Safe Plan: our commitment to keep our community safe
  • Risk Assessments: identifying and managing specific risks
  • Individuals: taking personal responsibility for your actions to

reduce the spread of COVID19
